help you along your journey of finding your dream home, selling your residence, or helping you land in that perfect
“right now” place. Honesty, transparency, and communication are the pillars of my business mindset, and are what I
believe are most important in a Realtor. Prior to Real Estate I spent over a decade in the medical field, and then
became a full time problem solver, chef, and homemaker to my husband and three children. Problem solving, creativity,
and being a visionary are the parts of myself I love most. My life experience has bolstered my ability to excel in every
way to help bring your dreams to life.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, being active outdoors, and spending time with family. I look forward to leading you
in this journey, and partnering with you to make your dream a reality. Contact me today to get started! Are you ready?

Gregg Cogswell is a lifelong resident of Torrington and grew up in a family that taught the value of
hard work, service and treating everyone with respect.
Prior to joining the Washington Agency, Gregg spent fifteen years in federal, state and local
government affairs, primarily as a legislative research and policy analyst at the Connecticut State
Capitol where he focused on issues affecting housing, municipalities, banking industry, commerce and
environment. He also spent three years as a managing agent for a property and casualty insurance
agency, where he focused on residential homeowners insurance throughout Litchfield County and
surrounding areas. In addition to his work experience, Gregg has served his local government in
Torrington. His service includes nine years on the City Council, two years on the Board of
Assessment Appeals and he currently serves as a Commissioner of the Board of Public Safety. He also
is a supporter of the many nonprofits and charities throughout northwest Connecticut who do
important work to support our community.
Gregg now applies those same principles of hard work, exceptional service, communication and respect
to representing his real estate clients. He works from the start to clearly understand each client’s
objectives and works tirelessly to ensure they are met at every step in the process. As a client
whether you are buying, selling, or leasing Gregg will be with you every step of the way to make
sure you understand the process, your questions are answered and when it is over your complete
satisfaction from start to finish.
Born and raised in Torrington, Don returned here after his military service in the Coast Guard
to buy a house and settle down with his wife. Over the past twenty years they have bought and
renovated three houses in the city and this piqued his interest in real estate. Don worked his
way up from mechanic to service manager at a John Deere dealership, and from lab technician to
project engineer at an automotive manufacturing company. He holds a certificate in Alternative
Energy Systems Technology, is a licensed Home Improvement Contractor, and flips houses for fun.
In his spare time he loves spending time with his wife and their two kitties, camping, fly
fishing, and entertaining on their hand-built patio. Don earns the respect of his clients by
working tirelessly on their behalf and meeting their needs while making the process enjoyable.
Ailee is a lifelong resident of Connecticut. She lives in Harwinton with her husband, two

locally for the past 18 years in the building materials and home improvement industry. Her
family is also in the construction field so she has many resources at her fingertips and
loves sharing her knowledge with others. The customer experience is something she feels is
most important and will work hard to ensure satisfaction. Ailee can’t wait to match you with
your real estate needs!
I am proud to be a member of The Washington Agency team. I was born in Greenwich, CT and
my family and extended family continue to keep roots there. Together with my partner of
20 years we have lived in Cornwall, part-time, for the past nine years but 2020 is about
new beginnings: new career and new full time residence.
Prior to joining The Washington Agency I was a Broadway Producer and received a Tony
Award and an Olivier Award. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, downsize, upsize, are
looking for that weekend get-away or an investment property I have been involved in all
of them and I look forward to helping you navigate your dreams into reality.
Ken is excited to bring his over 30 years’ experience in customer service and high
ethical standards into real estate. He has lived in the Torrington area for over 40
years and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys renovating his home and
exercising, especially running and playing golf. He is an active member of the Avon
Rotary Club. He has also been involved with the Torrington Kiwanis Club.
My name is Joseph Garcia. I’m the father of four children (two boys and 2
girls). I have worked in Torrington for the past 16 years, and have been proud
to call Torrington my home for the last 8 years; after meeting and marrying my
wife here. I am a person who places family above all. With this in mind (and
having been through the process of finding our first home) I want to set out to
help others find a place where to find joy and create memories for the whole
family: a home, not just a house. I vow to do all I can to make this unique
experience as seamless and pleasant as possible. Searching for a home should be
an exciting adventure, without fear.

fishing year round and spending time with his family and friends. The
northwest corner holds a special place in his heart. In addition to growing
up and raising his own family here, he has also had the pleasure of serving
the Northwest corner in a variety of human service positions. Mainly as an
educational advocate, but also as a vocational coordinator and a special
education associate instructor. He has dedicated his career as a supporter
of the education system within the state of CT. With encouragement from his
friends and family, he decided to make a career change to real estate.
PJ prides himself in taking the time to find the perfect home not only for

and the Washington agency is what made me want to get into this field of
work. I want everyone who buys or sells a home to have this experience. It
should be a fun time in our lives going through this process and not one
full of headaches and hassles. Let me do the work for you so that you can
sit back and enjoy the process.”

What goes around, comes around…Nancy Schroeder Perez earned her real
estate license and became a full-time realtor in 1982, when interest rates
climbed higher than 20 percent.
In that difficult housing environment, she sold her first home using creativity
to make the deal work for both parties. Since her first sale, Nancy has been
unstoppable. Today, 85 to 90 percent of her loyal clients are either repeat or
referral business.
Prior to embarking on a successful real estate career, Nancy’s professional
background was diverse and in her own words “a bit quirky.” Her resume includes
parts manager for her family’s lawnmower/snow blower business, waitress in
Rockefeller Center NYC, tenant organizer, receptionist in a major New York City
law firm, and supervisor in charge of rehabbing more than 60 apartments in the
South Bronx. With each and every position, Nancy viewed the job as an
opportunity to learn, hone her people skills, and develop her customer service
talents. This approach has paid-off, giving her the work ethic, ingenuity and
interpersonal skills to be a successful real estate agent.
In addition to her GRI, Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in English. She
graduated Phi Beta Kappa with cum laude honors from the City University of New
York. Nancy also brings her energy and commitment to the local community. Her
leadership abilities have been recognized by her peers in the Real Estate
industry: she has been chosen Chairperson of the Grievance Committee of
Litchfield County Board of Realtors as well as having been a candidate for the
prestigious Realtor of the Year Award. She volunteers in her town for the Inland
Wetlands and Watercourse Commission and was a founding member of Friends of
Torrington Education. She volunteers for Friendly Hands Food Bank, a non-profit
organization that provides services to the working poor (individuals who are low
income but do not qualify for government assistance). She volunteers in a
mentoring program for a young at-risk girls in the foster care system. She is
also a volunteer for the Birth to Graduation program, helping young parents
raise successful children. On the personal side, Nancy enjoys watercolor
painting, graphite drawing, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, hiking,
cooking and baking. She is one of six children and today is proud of her son and
daughter as well as her many nieces and nephews. Nancy credits her
organizational skills to her mother Marge Schroeder and her people proficiencies
to her father Walt (Tweet) Schroeder. She concludes that both of her parents
ingrained in her the importance of honesty and treating people fairly.
From her career in the medical field, to restauranteur, to Realtor, Joanne has
always wanted to take care of people and help them out, no matter what their
needs. Her varied background, before she came to excel in the field of real
estate, prepped her for the job of solving problems while serving the people she
represents.Joanne possesses a positive attitude that’s indicative of her
forward-looking perspective. She takes the long view and often can foresee
problems and nip them in the bud, potentially saving her clients both time and
money. A firm believer in goals, one of Joanne’s life mottos is “goals are the
oxygen of dreams. Without them, your dream will stay a dream.” It’s safe to say
that Joanne’s goal is to bring her clients dreams to fruition, and her record
proves that her success is shared by her many loyal clients.

the community through the service industry.
Before joining the Washington Agency, she was a service dog trainer with the
Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities, as well as a camp counselor for
their summer education program. She has a love for music that she always takes
with her and always tries to be the one to put a smile on someone’s face.

Elaine Pacheco has been a resident of Litchfield County for over ten years and
brings enthusiasm to our office for all things related to the field of real
estate. She is detail orientated, and is tenacious with ensuring all aspects of
her client’s real estate transaction are properly addressed, and whenever
applicable, resolved fairly. She believes manners are minor morals and all
concerns of a client are important. Knowing that the real estate process for
clients can be stressful, she strives to ensure they are treated graciously and
with prompt attention.
Prior to joining our team, she held a myriad of managerial positions through
which she was able to cultivate the valuable skills of multitasking and
diplomatic conflict resolution in stressful situations. She is thoughtful when

the best light to maximize its sales potential. Working with buyers, she is
committed to understanding her client’s wish list, needs, and other various
factors in order to find the right property.
She is a fan of animals regardless of size or type, and can be found in her free
time, landscaping, enjoying the beauty of Litchfield county, or attending
cultural events related to anything from the belle epoch.
